It's time to look for new and exciting challenges. Over the years I have gained 11 years industry experience in print and web design and have spent the past 8 years as Lead Designer and Creative Director for Bush Branding & Marketing (a full service, boutique advertising agency in Byron Bay). I am, without a doubt, no stranger to working within the tightest of deadlines and the most limited of budgets but still manage to produce quality work over a variety of projects and design disciplines. I love what i do and I'm at my best when the heat is on and busy, busy, busy.
At present I live in the Byron Shire with the husband and our 4 year old son.
Actually started out life as a registered nurse - and that's all I'll say about that. With a yearning to design and being in the right place at the right time I was lucky enough to be given (thanks simon) the best opportunity I could have imagined to make the switch from the pan room to design. I was definitely thrown in the deep end but learnt how to swim real quick under the watchful eye of some of the best designers in the country to whom i will always be in awe and forever grateful (Brie Wohler and Paul Prickett). That was in Sydney back at the turn of the Millennium. So much fun and creativity but a learning curve like no other. After going out on my own and gaining experience in a more corporate sector the call of the sea and job offer in Byron Bay was all it took to make the sea change to Byron and all it's offerings. I've worked closely with a number of the local design agencies but chose Bush and the chaotic Canadian energy it offered as my home.
